Wonders of Lavendar and Rosemary

Using White Light

Many of you hear me over and over again explaining how you can use a white light for protection.  This protection can be used for many, many things. This will also allow for a friendly, helpful, and loving reminder to use your gift for yourself.

You can use white light for basic protection to block other individual’s energy from your own.  When you feel another person’s energy, it means that you are Empathic .  You feel energy which can include emotions and thoughts that do not belong to you . This can be a huge stressor on you with any emotions but especially if you have negative people around sharing their energy. For individuals who are extremely empathic this can cause a major upset in your daily life and most are not even aware of the cause. Just think back, have you ever walked into a room and felt angry or out of place for no apparent reason?  If so you have picked up someone else's energy.  There is a very simple technique that I use to help with this type of problem.

In your minds eye imagine a beam of white light coming down from the skies and moving through your body from your head to your toes.  This white light fills you with unlimited possibilities.

Now, imagine yourself taking this white light and bringing it to your center core (the middle of your chest).  Concentrate your white light here and then imagine it pushing out around your body as a protective shield.  While doing this, set your intent.  My intent is to protect myself well and only I feel my feelings and my emotions. No others are allowed to penetrate through my white light shield to share in my energy or convey theirs to me.  By doing this you will block outside energies from entering into your energy field.  You will find that you are more relaxed during the day.  You will have clear thoughts and function at a high level.  You will also be more energized at the end of the day because you are not battling everyone else's energy.
It is important to remember to do your white light protection each day.  I do my white light protection each morning before I go to work. If I am in a situation where I feel that I need to remove my white light, I do so by simply stating “Please remove my white light” and I imagine my white light going away into the universe.

If you can not imagine this visually you can do this by voice, stating your intent and the steps that are to take place, or you can feel the process through.  Different people do it differently and you will need to experiment and see what works for you.  You may find that a different process works better for you and your needs.  There is no one absolute correct way, only recommendations. You have to do what feels right for you.

However, you must believe in what you are doing for it to work.  In this work  you must remember that what you believe is your own truth.  You have to believe in your capabilities and in your own truth for it to work.

Once you believe in yourself your capabilities are endless!
.
I personally love essential oils.  They have many uses from aromatherapy, cleaning, and many other incredible uses.  Lets take a venture and learn about some of my personal favorites:
Lavender: Just thinking about the scent of lavender brings on a relaxing feeling. Did you know that other health benefits of lavender includes:
                Ability to eliminate nervous tension
                Relieve pain
                Disinfect the scalp and skin
                Enhance blood circulation
                Treat respiratory problems
                Treat insomnia and depression
It has been used for centuries for it cleansing and healing properties, with ancient Egyptians using it as a perfume and Romans have used it for purifying their baths. Today it has become popular ingredient in skin care products, body oils and much more.  Lavender is the perfect addition to your essential oil collection.
Here is a simply DYI bath detox: The ideal recipe that will draw out toxins while lowering stress-related hormones, balancing pH levels and soothing your skin.  Just add a handful of Epsom salt and 10 drops of lavender essential oil under the running water as you fill you warm bath. Soak for 20 minutes.  If you can do this once a week, you will feel more relaxed and renewed.

Another favorite essential oil of mine is Rosemary!!  Absolutely love rosemary and one that I use almost daily. There are numerous essential oils, but for me nothing compares to the aroma of rosemary. Its fragrance is enchanting, therapeutic and healing.  Here are just a few uses:
                Physical and mental energizing agent
                Cure for indigestion
Great to rid of headaches and congestion
Apply to cuts and scrapes in order to speed up healing
Stress and anxiety relief (I put in my diffuser daily)
Mental clarity helps with learning and memory
Boosts immunity and helps increase circulation
A little DYI for rosemary.  A great way to improve the health of your hair and scalp. Make your own infusion post-shampoo herbal hair rinse that you use once a week.  This will stimulate blood flow and help reduce dandruff. Bring 4 cups or water to a boil. Add rosemary (fresh, dried or essential oil) allow to infuse for at least 30 minutes.  If you used dried or fresh herbs you will need to strain. Then pour into bottle of choice and keep in your shower or bathtub.

Healing Meditation

As many of you know, I love self healing, especially those methods that seem to work wonders. I have recently come across a great meditation method that I would like to share with you. It is called Healing Meditation with Water.
In order for any healing method to work you must be open and honest with yourself first.  You must be willing to accept your own imperfections and have a desire to learn how to correct them. When going into any meditation it is important to remain open minded and not have any set goals or agendas (very important).
To try Healing Meditation with Water follow these simple steps:
1.        Fill your bathtub with water, being sure to set it at a temperature that you will be comfortable.
2.        Put in 1 cup of Epson salt. Most of you will have this already but if not it can be found at any drug or discount store such as CVS or Wal-Mart.
3.        Put in 5 drops of your favorite oil (lavender, rosemary, etc…). If you don’t have any on hand you can find this at[SI1]
4.        If you don’t have natural lighting  then light a candle.  Do not use electrical lights of any kind.
5.        Before you get into the water state the following: “I ask that these waters heal my deepest pain whether it is physical, mental, emotional or spiritual.”
6.        Step into the water, sit down and get comfortable.
7.        Make the following statement: “I ask for a message regarding my pain.”
When you ask for the message, it should come right away.  Listen to your message with an open heart and mind.  Be receptive and open to do what is necessary to heal yourself.
The most important thing to remember is that even though you ask for healing, you must do the work to make the healing successful.  The water helps move the pain and bring it to focus for your mind and body but it is not an immediate cure all, only the first step, which is acknowledgement. You must follow through with the steps you are shown for the healing to occur.
Self healing is a very powerful tool and one that requires much self work and acceptance.
